  • Tie Dye Lab!!!
  • Bring a 100% cotton shirt
  • Bring 3 pieces of corrugated Cardboard pre cut to 12"-16" sides
  • Bring 3 Grocery sacks to bag and take home your t-shirt
  • Extra Credit if you wear your shirt during your final!!!
Assignments:  Finish your tie dye!
  1. At home after 4 hours but before 24 you need to finish your shirt.
  2. Hold your shirt in the washing machine by the elastics then cut them letting the shirt drop into the washing machine.
  3. Normal wash with warm water. DO NOT USE LANDRY DETERGENT IT WILL RUIN YOUR SHIRT... WE NEED TO SET THE DYE FIRST.
  4. Take the liquid dish soap from your kitchen and put two normal size squirts about a tablespoon into the washer with the shirt
  5. If you have a 2nd rinse cycle put that on.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 (wash it twice) adding dish soap again
  7. After you have washed it twice then you can dry it. It now can be washed with dark colors etc.  when doing normal laundry.
